The candidate must have passed a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law i.e LLB or equivalent from a well-known Indian university or institute with a minimum of 60% marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates while for SC and PwBD candidates they must score a minimum of 55% marks. And it’s compulsory for candidates to have appeared in CLAT-2026 PG programme only.

As of the cutoff date the maximum age of the candidate must be 30 years but there is 5 year relaxation for Sc and 3 years for OBC Non-Creamy Layer while there is 10-year relaxation for PWBD and also for ex-servicemen according to the rules of the government.
