The Indian Army SSC Technical has officially announced 67 recruitments for 2026 for female engineering graduates who want to serve as commissioned officers. The Indian Army has made the announcement and the online application process is open on the official recruitment portal from 6/January/2026 to 4/February/2026. The Short Service Commission -SSC Technical-67 Course has 29 openings for unmarried women candidates through this entry. Candidates must meet requirements related to age and education and marital status which are briefly described below:-

The minimum age of an aspirant should not be less than 20 years old and the maximum age of the aspirant should not be more than the 27 years old. The Age of candidate is calculated as on 01 October 2026

Candidates must have been born between 2/October/1999 and 1/October/2006 inclusive. According to Army regulations stated in the official notification any age relaxation is applicable.

The candidates must possess a B.Tech / B.E. degree in the relevant engineering discipline and the degree must be from a recognised university or institution in India. The Final-year engineering students may apply subject to meeting qualification conditions before commissioning. Candidates will only be shortlisted if they meet the necessary technical requirements.

Marital Status Requirement

• Only unmarried female aspirants will be eligible to apply
• Aspirants must remain unmarried until the completion of training

This condition is mandatory and strictly enforced during selection.

Selection Process for Indian Army SSC Technical – 67

The recruitment process does not include a written examination and is entirely based on profile shortlisting and assessment.

• Shortlisting of Applications are based on the academic performance of the candidates
• Allotment of SSB Selection Centre.
• SSB Interview will be held for over 5 days.
• Medical Examination according to the Army standards
• Final Merit List are based on the SSB marks

Training Details:-

• Training Duration: Accordance to the Indian Army
• Position on the Commission: Lieutenant

Candidates will receive a Short Service Commission upon successfully completing training which enables them to serve as army officers for the country.
