Who Can Apply for the Recruitment:
Candidates must meet the requirements for age along with education and athletic accomplishments which are stated below in order to help the candidates to figure out whether they are eligible or not:
Candidates must have represented India at the international level with clearance from the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports along with the State or UT in Senior/Junior National Championships with a medal up to 3rd position and at university in Inter-University competitions with a medal up to 3rd position in addition to participation at the State/UT/University level without a medal. Also the candidates must have state schools in national school games with medals up to 3rd position along with being National Award holders under the National Physical Efficiency Drive. Candidates having higher-level achievements are given priority during merit preparation.
The students who fall in the category of SC and ST categories should be between the ages of 18 and 33 while the candidates in the General and OBC categories should be between the ages of 18 and 28 . Also the Candidates must make sure that their date of birth is within the range according to the category rules.
The matriculation or 10th pass qualification from a reputable board is required for the position of general duty rifleman or riflewoman. During the document verification process the educational certificates are required.
