The CUET UG 2026 Online Application Form for admission to undergraduate programmes that are offered by Central – State – Deemed and other participating universities throughout India has been officially released by the National Testing Agency i.e NTA. In order to make sure transparency and equal opportunity for students from various education boards the Central Universities Entrance Test i.e CUET-UG has evolved into the single-window national examination for UG admissions. The CUET UG 2026 Online Application Form process began on 3/January/2026 and will continue until the date of 30/January/2026 according to the official announcement. The exam will be Computer-Based Test i.e CBT mode between 11/May and 31/May/2026 and aspirants who have cleared or are appearing in the Class 12 exam are able to apply for the exam and choose various universities and courses through a single application form.

Candidates must meet the requirements that are put forward by the participating universities and the NTA that are given below:

The aspirant must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 or an equivalent exam from a well-known board and the subject requirements depend on the course and university that are chosen. Also English must be studied as a subject for many programmes

There is no minimum or maximum age limit mentioned by the NTA. Any age requirements will be set by the admission policies of the particular university.

Selection Process:

Aspirants must know that the admission through CUET UG 2026 is done in multiple steps which are stated below:

Computer-Based Testor CBT: As selected during the application process the candidates take the CUET UG exam which consists of language along with domain subjects and a general test.

Result Declaration: The NTA publishes scorecards with normalised scores that are broken down by subjects.

Cut-Off & Merit list: Based on CUET results the participating universities make their own merit lists and cut-offs.

Counselling and Admission: In order to receive counselling and to be assigned a seat and have the documents verified the candidates must register separately on the particular university portals.

Step 5: Pay the application fee that is charged through the online medium
